One Step Forward is looking for experienced ABA Therapists / Behavior Technicians for part time, after school opportunities in the Madison and surrounding Morris County area.

You'll work one on one with a child with autism, helping build communication, social, behavioral, play, and everyday living skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Our current in home opportunities include Cedar Knolls and East Hanover, with consistent weekday afternoon and early evening schedules.

Pay: $22–$32 per hour based on experience

Our current schedules are during weekday afternoons and early evenings, making this a great part time opportunity if you have daytime commitments and are looking to add consistent after school hours to your week.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work directly with a child using an individualized treatment program developed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You'll:

• Provide one on one in home ABA therapy

• Help build communication, social, play, adaptive, and daily living skills

• Implement individualized skill acquisition programs

• Follow behavior intervention and behavior reduction programs

• Use evidence based ABA strategies including reinforcement and prompting

• Collect accurate session data to monitor progress

• Complete electronic session documentation

• Communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA

Who We're Looking For

Previous ABA experience

Relevant experience may include:

• ABA Therapist

• Behavior Technician

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

• Paraprofessional

• Special education aide

• Behavioral health professional

Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, professional, comfortable working one on one with children, and committed to maintaining a consistent weekly schedule.

Reliable transportation is required for this in home position.

Current Opportunities

We are currently hiring ABA Therapists in the Madison and surrounding Morris County area, including opportunities in Cedar Knolls and East Hanover.

We make every effort to match therapists with cases based on their location and availability to help keep travel reasonable.

You'll work independently with your client while still having an experienced BCBA and clinical team behind you for ongoing supervision, guidance, and support.
